The right size is the key to choosing a shower enclosure. Here is how to measure your space and read the sizes in our catalogue.
How to measure
- Corner enclosure: measure both walls from the corner to where the enclosure will end. Sizes are given as “side × entry”, e.g. 800×1000 mm: 800 mm is the side panel, 1000 mm is the door side.
- Niche door: measure the niche width at the floor, in the middle and at the top — use the smallest value. Walls are rarely perfectly straight.
- Walk-in screen: measure the length of the shower area; for comfort the opening should be at least 600 mm.
- Bath screen: measure the bath width and the distance from the rim to the ceiling.
- Height: our standard height is 2000 mm; make sure there is room above for installation and ventilation.
Adjustment range
Many models list a range next to the size, e.g. “1000 mm (range 980–1020)”. The enclosure fits if your actual size is within that range — the profile compensates for uneven walls.
Standard sizes
The most common sizes are 800×800, 900×900, 1000×1000, 800×1000, 800×1200 and 900×1200 mm. If none fits, we can make an enclosure to your measurements — just write to us.
Shower tray
The tray size should match the enclosure size. For a tray-free shower with a floor drain, allow for the floor slope and the threshold height.
Mirrors
A mirror is usually as wide as the basin or vanity, or slightly narrower. Hang the bottom edge 20–30 cm above the tap, with the centre roughly at eye level (150–160 cm from the floor).
